On April 10, 2008 the U.S. House of Representatives voted 224 to 195 in favor of House Resolution 1092 providing that section 151(e)(1) and section 151(f)(1) of the Trade Act of 1974 (i.e., the 90-day deadline for voting) shall not apply in the case of the bill (H.R. 5724) to implement the United States-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement. The vote was on party lines with these few cross-overs:
